Emily Trask, Vice President

Emily Trask is the founder of ContextEd, providing content marketing and online strategy for numerous companies and non-profits. She is passionate about helping small businesses establish their online presence and develop their online identities to increase leads and sales in their local markets and beyond.
​
Before venturing out on her own, Emily was a co-founder and owner of Solidus Editorial Solutions, providing writing, editing, and consulting services to small businesses. Prior to founding Solidus, she managed the publishing operations and was an analyst for a Boston-based education research firm. Prior to that, she was an editorial assistant for the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.

Emily holds a B.A. in English and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of The University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She has completed post-graduate work in English and American Literature at Harvard University. She is a member of the Tamarack Writers, a group of writers who gather on the banks of Big Moose Lake in the Adirondacks every summer to share their creative writing.
Additionally, Emily teaches children’s theater and writes children’s plays for various organizations. She is the President of Greater Boston Business Network.
