HELPIS Help Me Help Someone, Inc. (HMHS) is a social network for kind and charitable deeds. It connects people in need with people who want to help. Right now in the world there are so many people in need, but there are also so many people who would love to help, but who don’t know how to make their contributions meaningful. Giving money is not something that everyone feels comfortable doing, especially when one can’t always be sure that funds are delivered where they are most needed.

 

But what if a person has a talent that he or she could give, some time to donate, some possessions that he or she does not need? Things that seem as mundane as a haircut, a ride to a job interview, old books, kitchen utensils – these could mean the world to someone in need. There are people in need in every community and more often than not there is someone willing to help just around the corner. But how do these people find each other? Help Me Help Someone’s helps individuals uncover opportunities to help others, right in their own community.

 

HELPIS HMHS has accumulated hundreds of documented stories, which provide inspiration and hope to those in need and those who are able to give.  HELPIS HMHS promotes the idea of community service by writing articles for newspapers, speaking at community events, sharing its mission on radio stations, television, and other media.

 

In addition to promoting the idea of community service, HMHS also directs its resources to help other charities accomplish service to others. Many charities have outstanding missions, HMHS partners with other charities to help them succeed in their charitable objectives.

 

HMHS has a special focus on helping children and families in need and will work with other youth serving and family organizations to carry out their charitable missions.

 

We will continue to advance the HELPIS mission of supporting local individuals and groups in need, with your help.
